Heathrow transfers

Everything handled with care from terminal to destination

From long-haul arrivals to early morning departures, our Heathrow service is designed to remove stress from airport travel.

A brief history of Heathrow

Heathrow Airport began operations in 1946 and has grown into one of the world’s most important aviation hubs. Located west of London, it has played a central role in connecting the UK with Europe, North America, Asia, the Middle East and the wider world.

Over the decades, Heathrow has expanded through multiple terminals, improved passenger facilities and major infrastructure upgrades. Today it supports both short-haul and long-haul travel and remains a key arrival point for visitors, families, students, business travellers and VIP guests coming into London.

The future of Heathrow

Heathrow continues to focus on passenger experience, sustainability, terminal efficiency and improved access. For travellers, this means careful journey planning remains essential, especially around busy arrival periods, school holidays, airline disruption and terminal traffic.

Mason & Green helps make Heathrow journeys easier by combining airport experience with professional driver coordination, allowing passengers to move from the aircraft to their destination with less uncertainty.

Pick-up procedures at Heathrow

Meet & Greet is mandatory at Heathrow Airport. Drivers meet passengers inside the arrivals hall rather than at the kerbside, helping to keep collections organised and compliant with airport procedures.

Your driver’s terminal entry time is planned using your flight number, actual landing time and expected passenger flow. This allows time for immigration, baggage reclaim and walking through arrivals, while still keeping the collection punctual and well coordinated.

Standard Heathrow airport pick-ups include up to one hour of complimentary waiting time after landing. If you intend to use an arrivals lounge, need additional assistance, or would prefer the driver to enter the terminal at a specific time, please tell us in the booking notes so the collection can be planned correctly.

Drop-off procedures at Heathrow

Standard Heathrow drop-offs take place at the designated terminal forecourts. For many passengers this is the quickest option, especially when travelling light or when you already know your terminal and airline check-in area.

Enhanced airport drop-off is available on request. This can include additional luggage support, use of official parking where suitable, and escort towards the check-in area where possible. It is especially useful for families with children, passengers with several bags, elderly travellers, students, or guests who prefer more assistance at the airport.

How it works

Simple Heathrow transfer planning

We plan every Heathrow transfer around your journey details, luggage, passenger needs and terminal procedures.

Share your flight number

Your flight number helps us monitor early arrivals, delays and terminal information.

Allow time after landing

We plan around immigration, baggage reclaim and passenger flow so your driver enters the terminal at the right time.

Meet inside arrivals

Your driver meets you in the arrivals hall and coordinates the route to the vehicle.

Travel door to door

Continue directly to your hotel, home, office, university, cruise port or onward destination.

Heathrow charges and waiting time

Clear information before you travel

Heathrow applies its own terminal drop-off and parking rules. Mason & Green includes the standard drop-off charge in fares where applicable, but extra parking, additional waiting time or special assistance costs may apply depending on the service required.

Arrivals parking

Meet & Greet collections normally require terminal parking. Charges depend on airport parking rules and the time required.

Waiting time

One hour of complimentary waiting time is included from landing. Please request a later pickup time if you plan to use an arrivals lounge.

Enhanced drop-off

Additional drop-off assistance may require short-stay parking rather than a quick terminal forecourt drop-off.

Location

Heathrow Airport map

Heathrow is located west of Central London, with road access to all terminals and onward routes across London and the UK.
