The name “Mason & Green” reflects a rich heritage. It was inspired by the company’s roots in a family business originally focused on the import and export of precious and semi-precious stones. The family’s flagship showroom was located in Piccadilly, serving as a distinguished showcase for fine gems and jewellery. When it became financially unsustainable to continue in retail, the founder’s son closed the showroom and embarked on a new journey in luxury private hire — preserving connection to the area’s heritage by naming the business after iconic local landmarks: Fortnum & Mason and Green Park.
