The short version
- Meet & Greet is for arrivals. Your driver waits for you inside the arrivals hall with a name board, helps with your luggage and walks you to the car.
- Enhanced drop-off is for departures. Instead of a quick stop at the kerb, your driver parks, helps with your bags and walks you into the terminal towards the check-in desk.
Meet & Greet: what happens when you land
We track your flight, so your driver's timing follows your actual landing time, not the time on your booking. When you land, your driver parks in the airport's official short-stay car park and goes into the arrivals hall.
They wait at the agreed meeting point holding a name board. You'll find them when you come through from baggage reclaim and customs. Your driver will also be in touch by phone or message, so you can let them know if you're held up at passport control or waiting for a bag.
From there, your driver helps with your luggage and walks you to the car. You don't have to find a pick-up zone, follow signs to a car park or phone around in a busy terminal.
Meet & Greet suits almost everyone, but it is especially helpful for:
- first-time visitors to London
- families with young children, pushchairs and car seats
- older passengers, and anyone who would like a little more support
- business travellers and hosted VIP guests
- anyone arriving tired after a long-haul flight
Where Meet & Greet is available
| Airport | Meet & Greet |
|---|---|
| Heathrow | Included as standard |
| Gatwick | Included as standard |
| London City | Included as standard |
| Stansted | Optional; add it when booking |
| Luton | Optional, at an extra cost; add it when booking |
If you don't choose Meet & Greet at Stansted or Luton, your driver collects you from the airport's designated pick-up area or short-stay car park. They'll send you clear directions before you land.
Waiting time after you land
Airport pick-ups include up to 60 minutes of free waiting time from the moment your flight lands. That is normally plenty of time for passport control, baggage reclaim and customs. If your flight is delayed, we simply follow the new landing time.
If you need longer, for example to collect assistance or use the facilities before leaving, tell us when you book. Waiting beyond the free allowance, and the extra airport parking it needs, may be charged, and we explain any charge clearly.
Enhanced drop-off: help on the way out
A standard airport drop-off is quick. Your driver pulls into the terminal drop-off zone, unloads your bags and you head inside. The airport's basic drop-off charge is already included in your fare.
Enhanced drop-off is for when you'd like more help. Your driver parks in the official short-stay car park rather than stopping briefly at the kerb. They then help with your luggage and walk with you into the terminal, towards the check-in area where airport access allows.
It is a good choice if you are:
- travelling with children, a pushchair or lots of luggage
- an older passenger, or someone with limited mobility
- a guest whose host wants them looked after right up to check-in
- unfamiliar with the airport and would like someone to show you where to go
If you need the airport's own special assistance service, such as a wheelchair through security, book that directly with your airline too. Your driver can bring you to the assistance point, but airport staff take over from there.
Where enhanced drop-off is available
Enhanced drop-off is available at Heathrow, Gatwick and London City. It is not offered at Stansted or Luton. Both airports have strict time limits in their drop-off zones and rules on where drivers can go, so drivers there provide a standard drop-off and help with your bags where they're allowed to.
How to book either service
Choose Meet & Greet or enhanced drop-off when you request a quote, or tell us on WhatsApp or by phone. It helps to give us:
- your flight number and date (for arrivals)
- the number of passengers and how much luggage you have
- any child seats you need (free when booked in advance)
- any mobility needs, so the driver can plan where to park and how to help
Any charge for these services is shown in your quote before you confirm, along with any extra parking or waiting that might apply. There is no surge pricing.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Meet & Greet and enhanced drop-off?

How long will my driver wait after I land?
Airport pick-ups include up to 60 minutes of free waiting from the time your flight lands. Because we track your flight, a delay does not use up this time.
