Mason & Green was born out of a simple but powerful vision: to elevate everyday travel into an exceptional experience. The family’s flagship showroom was proudly located in the heart of Piccadilly, serving as a distinguished showcase for fine gems and jewelery. When the company’s founder retired, his son took over management of the store. However, he soon recognised that maintaining such a prime retail location had become financially unsustainable due to exorbitant rents. Faced with this challenge, he made the difficult decision to close the showroom. To honor the family’s heritage and connection to the area, the new business name was inspired by two iconic local landmarks near the former store: the world-renowned Fortnum & Mason department store and the adjacent Green Park. By combining these names, “Mason & Green” was created—a modern brand that preserves a link to its rich history while embarking on a new journey in luxury private hire and chauffeur services.
