FAQs
Cruise transfer questions
How early should I leave London for a cruise port?
This depends on the cruise port and sailing time. For Southampton, we typically recommend departing London
around 4–5 hours before embarkation to allow for traffic and terminal procedures. We can advise the best
pick-up time when you book.
Do you provide transfers after a cruise returns to port?
Yes. We offer cruise disembarkation transfers from all major UK cruise ports back to London,
airports, hotels, or onward destinations. Pick-up timing is planned around ship arrival and clearance.
Can you handle group or family cruise transfers?
Absolutely. We regularly provide cruise transfers for families and groups, with vehicles selected
based on passenger numbers and luggage requirements. Multiple vehicles can also be arranged if needed.
Are your vehicles suitable for large suitcases?
Yes. Cruise passengers typically travel with larger suitcases, and our fleet includes vehicles
specifically chosen to accommodate this. Please let us know your luggage details when booking.
Can you pick up from Heathrow or other airports before a cruise?
Yes. We provide direct transfers from Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton and London City Airport
to all major cruise ports, including Southampton, Dover and Tilbury.
What happens if my cruise ship arrival is delayed?
We monitor scheduled arrival times and remain flexible where possible. If your ship is delayed,
our team will adjust the collection time accordingly and keep communication clear on the day. There may be extra waiting charges involved.
Do you monitor cruise ship arrival times for return transfers?
Yes. For return cruise transfers, we schedule pick-ups based on your ship’s expected arrival
and typical disembarkation times. This allows for a calm exit from the port without rushing,
delays or uncertainty.
Can you collect from hotels near cruise ports the night before departure?
Absolutely. We regularly provide transfers from London hotels and accommodation near
Southampton, Dover, Tilbury and other UK cruise ports. Early-morning departures and
pre-cruise hotel stays are fully supported.
Is the price affected by traffic or port delays?
No. All cruise transfers are quoted at a fixed price agreed at the time of booking.
Traffic conditions, port congestion or longer disembarkation times do not affect
the cost of your transfer.
Do you offer Meet & Greet at cruise terminals?
Meet & Greet service is not available at ports, due to local regulations and permissions, and parking locations are limited and very far from the terminal. Standard pick-up is typically arranged at the designated pick-up area outside the terminal, as parking and waiting times within the terminal are limited.
Upon arrival at the port, the driver will contact you to coordinate the pick-up. Once you reach the designated pick-up area, please contact the driver, who will then proceed to meet you. The driver will assist with loading your luggage and ensure a safe and comfortable transfer to your chosen destination..
